RuneScape is an MMORPG created by Jagex, the makers of MechScape (and FunOrb). It is not an actual part of MechScape itself, but is linked in some ways. Players can chat to RuneScape players from MechScape, and Player Moderators keep their statuses across both MechScape and RuneScape. However, Forum Moderators do not.
RuneScape players have been assured that RuneScape will be in no way affected by the release of MechScape; the game has its own team working on it.
The Armies of Gielinor game on FunOrb is based on the RuneScape world, Gielinor.
