Anyone who regularly browses the Runescape Wikia will notice a peculiar character in a lot of screenshots. That's Chikoritapro, the girl dressed in tiny green top and shorts, green hair, green chompy hat, sandals and firecape.
I'm wondering about our version.
Should we have one? Should we set something up? We can expect a lot of customisation options, so why not have a standard equipment setup for screenshots demonstrating stuff like places and emotes?
Do we really need one? That's the thing. It's a lot of effort to standardise something, and doesn't bring that many advantages. Using someone with good photography/screenshotting skills also means we can get some higher quality out of it, if it means extra work to clean some things up. I think it would be a nice thing to do. I can do some pretty good quality images and photoshop them to get them just right :) We'll have to see what we can do in the beta though. --TSXtalk 22:37, November 14, 2010 (UTC)
Comment - I support developing some sort of image policy in conjuction to our existing ones, but I don't think we need to limit the contributions of our users to a specific outfit. Chikoritapro wasn't an official RuneScape Wiki "policy", she was just a user who added all her pictures while looking the same.. and she just uploaded a lot...

Comment- I agree with Bonzi, It was kinda neat seeing the same outfit throughout all the pictures, but It's not completely necessary. There will be policies in regard to screenies I'm sure, but I like a bit of character within uploads. --Hess Talk 03:07, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
Comment - I don't mind a singular entity for screen captures, but I am against how she had used templates to credit it to certain individuals. If we can come up with a policy akin to the RSW, I'd be glad. Ryan PM 13:45, November 19, 2010 (UTC)
Strong Oppose - Seeing the same flashy outfit in nearly every image has annoyed a number of users on the RS Wiki so much that there was a proposal to make rules prohibiting people from wearing the same outfit for several images. Although I wouldn't go so far as to make rules against people wearing flashy "signature" outfits, I'm against any standardization of outfits.
