Hello. I am relatively new to this wiki, but yet have been around for awhile and have been actively monitoring it. As such, I have made several changes which I feel with better impact the way this community can develop and communicate.
First, as a active member of the RuneScape Wiki, I was one of the prime users responsible for shaping their forum for discussion (A.K.A Yew Grove) to what it is as of now. As such, I have implemented some of the things I wrote for that forum here so the forum can be more efficently used.
First change I did was to change the Add topic bar, and added a search bar. All pages beginning with Forum: will now be searchable. This search will include user names, key words and other interested things that might better your ease with the forum and ability to find what you are looking for more effectively.
Second change was I added a bit of information to the description of the watercooler so it will visually look more appealing with respect to the new search bar than the whitespace which appeared before.
And third, I have included the potential to sticky threads. This should be used for important discussions only which require immediate attention of the community. To sticky a thread, simply place the thread you want into Category:Stickied threads which will place the thread under the stickied header.
In addition, the main forum pages, Forum:Index, Forum:Help desk, and Forum:Mech Garage should be protected, as per a strong recommendation to avoid vandalism.
I hope this helps I will try to work a little more behind the scenes to better improve this wiki. Everything looks great so far!
